Romania: Confindustria launched Eastern Europe Study Center

Geopolitical analysis on Balkans, Eurasia, Caucasus, Black Sea

01 February, 17:05
(ANSA) - BUCHAREST, FEB 1 - The European Center for Eastern Europe Studies, the new initiative of Confindustria Romania, aimed to analyze four critical areas of Eastern Europe from the geopolitical point of view, namely the Balkans, Eurasia, Caucasus, and the Black Sea area, started its activities in Bucharest.

The director of the Center is Adrian Dimache, former Secretary-General of the Chamber of Commerce for Italy in Bucharest from September 2009 to December 2018. Dimache emphasized that his idea of the Center came at a particularly delicate time from the political and economic point of view in these regions, given the Kazakh crisis, the Ukrainian one, and that of gas and raw materials. "There are very complex situations that we will be going to analyze in detail with impartiality in our quarterly publication Sestante. Therefore, I am pleased to be part of this project of Confindustria Romania, also because I have always had a great passion for geopolitical issues, which I believe every good investor should take into account," said Dimanche.
