Tourism: Alpe Adria Trail's Tale, kick off meeting today

31 January, 14:04Today the first stage of the new project took place and was attended by the representatives of the partners based in the involved areas: Ronald Oberdorfer from the Carinthian partner Kartnen Werbung and Claudio Tognoni from the Tourism promotion Consortium of the Tarvisio, Sella Nevea and Passo Pramollo/Nassfeld. Made up of 43 stages, 11 of which in Italy, ''the Alpe Adria Trail is an amazing route that can be discovered throughout the year - Gomiero underlined - and allows you to enjoy different aspects: food, wine, nature, landscape, culture. The first stage of the project, which has been carried out in the last five years and has and ended with the completion of the trail - he explained - is now followed by the second stage, which will focus on promoting the experiences that can be made along the way, enjoying places, traditions and food. We will also be committed to offering services - he added -, addressing mainly beginners and also, when possible, disabled people, and we are planning to introduce a baggage transport service''. The project is entirely funded by the European Union, with 1 million euros for the first stage and the same amount for the second phase, that envisages a map of the places of interest, the creation of a food&wine guide, some technological-infrastructural activities and interventions to improve accessibility.
