Tourism: record-numbers for Croatia in first months 2018
Increasing 10% arrivals, +12% overnights

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 06 LUG - An increasing number of people
are choosing Croatia as their touristic destination, new data
from the Croatian National Tourist Board show.
In the first six months of 2018, 6.4 million tourist visited Croatia, with 25.4 million overnights generated. This represents respectively a 10% and +12% increase year on year, the Tourist Board said. The majority of tourists came from abroad, with 5.5 million arrivals of foreigners (+12%) and 22.2 million overnights (+10%), generated in particular by German, Austrian, Slovenian, British and Polish tourists. An increase of 10% in arrivals and 11% in overnights was recorded also for domestic tourist. (ANSA).
