Rome, meeting of the Balkan police chiefs

Focus on crime, terrorism, trafficking in human beings

(ANSA) - ROME - The Police High School in Rome is hosting on Wednesday the Conference of Police Chiefs of the Balkan Countries, organized in order to allow the heads of law enforcement agencies in those countries to discuss the most alarming criminal phenomena.

The meeting is being attended by the chiefs of the police from Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Hungary, and by the representatives of Europol, Interpol, Frontex and Selec. The main issues that will be addressed during the meeting are: organized crime, terrorism, trafficking in human beings, people-smuggling. (ANSA).
