(ANSA) - BELGRADE - In a potential referendum, only 41% of
Serbs would say 'yes' to their country's entry into the European
Union, compared with 25.4% of respondents who said they are
'against' and 20.8% of undecided.
These numbers resulted from a survey conducted by the European
Movement in Serbia and the Faculty of Political Sciences of the
University of Belgrade, with the sponsorship of the EU
delegation in Belgrade.
According to this survey, conducted from 10 to 17 April on a
sample of 1,173 citizens, 55.4% said time that Serbia would
never enter the European Union, whereas 58.7% said they are not
interested at all in getting information about the EU. (ANSA).
