(ANSA) - PRISTINA - A mass grave was discovered in the cemetery
at Prizren, a town in southern Kosovo not far from the border
with Albania.
According to Kushtrim Garaj, head of the government's commission
for Kosovar missing people, the exhumation operations of human
remains has immediately begun.
These bodies will be identified through the DNA analysis. It's
not yet clear if these people were killed during the war of the
late nineties between Serb forces and the Kosovo Liberation Army
(KLA), the separatist Albanian guerrilla group.
The exhumation operations are taking place with the support of
experts from Eulex, the European civil mission in Kosovo.(ANSA)
