Germany, never so few insolvent companies since 1999
In 2016, down 6.2% compared to the previous year

(ANSA) - BERLIN - The insolvency cases in Germany in 2016 marked
the lowest record since 1999, with a decrease of 6.2% over the
previous year, according to business news agency Buergel in
Hamburg.
According to data, 21,800 insolvencies were recorded last year;
23,000 in 2015. In 2009, the year of crisis in Germany, they
were 33,800. According to forecasts, in 2017 this positive trend
will continue, with a further decline of 3.5%.(ANSA).
