Kosovo : big blast at radio and TV headquarters

(ANSA) - PRISTINA , AUG. 23 - A big blast occurred last night in Pristina at the headquarters of RTK , Kosovo's public Radio and Television. As the same TV station reported, the blast occurred in the courtyard of the building, not far from the RTK satellite transmitters.

At the time of the explosion, around midnight, in the headquarters of the RTK there were still several journalists and employees, none of whom is wounded. By means of an official press release, the Union of television journalists has strongly condemned the attack, on which the police are now investigating.

The attack was claimed by nationalist activists who oppose an agreement on the border line with Montenegro, local media reported, explaining that those who are held responsible for throwing a bomb at the RTK building's courtyard are some nationalist activists Kosovar residing near the border between Kosovo and Montenegro.

The same activists – media reported - that two weeks ago threw a grenade at the headquarters of the parliament of Kosovo
