(ANSA) - BRUSSELS - German architects have never had it so good since the country's reunification, according to a survey conducted by the Ifo Institute for Economic Research. The survey shows that there is a boom in professions. And freelance architects are doing fine. According to Ifo's 'business climate', 54% of German architects deem as 'good' their professional situation, whereas only 1 in 8 professionals complains. Optimism about future career has increased from 14% to 18% of respondents. The survey also shows that as much as 57% of freelance architects have signed new contracts in the first quarter of 2016. The building sector - family homes and duplex houses - performed particularly well in Bavaria and Baden-Wuerttemberg. (ANSA).
