(ANSA) - TRIESTE - Former bodyguard of the ex Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden will be transferred from Guantanamo to Montenegro, where he will undertake a programme of 're-socialisation', before being able to choose the country in which he wants to live. Abdel Malik Ahmed Abdel Wahab al-Rahabi (37), detained in Guantanamo Bay since January 2002, was arrested together with other 31 Al Qaeda members in 2001. "The United States are grateful to the Government of Montenegro for this humanitarian act and for the will to support our ongoing efforts to close the penitentiary institution of Guantanamo Bay", it was stated in a note published by the Pentagon.
