Serbia,NATO withdraw airspace restrictions dating back to 99

Secretary General Stoltenberg announced the decision

20 November, 15:04
(ANSA) - BELGRADE - The Nato-led international military force (KFOR) has cancelled today the restrictions that had been introduced in 1999 for some areas of Serbia's airspace. This decision was announced in Belgrade by Nato Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, at a press conference following his talks with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.

This decision seems to be ''a concrete expression of the status of the relationship between Nato and Serbia. Restrictions had been enforced in some areas of Serbia's airspace which does not exist anymore'', Stoltenberg underlined, adding that this means Serbia is fully integrated into the European airspace.
