(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT. 28 - Serbia will buy from Russia some
weapons which could be used for defensive purposes only. This is
what Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic told reporters in Moscow,
where he is paying an official visit since yesterday. ''We won't
buy offensive weapons, but we need to defend our territory'',
the prime minister said, without specifying the type of weapons
involved. Vucic said that Serbia intends to produce certain
weapons by itself, in collaboration with Russia. The premier
held talks yesterday and today with Russian Prime Minister
Dmitri Medvedev, and tomorrow he will be received by President
Vladimir Putin. (ANSA)
