Slovenia, corruption scandal in the health sector

Damage to the system approximately 5 million Euros

(ANSA) – LJUBLJANA - A case of corruption in the public health sector in Slovenia, that caused a total damage of five million euro, has been unveiled today by the business daily Finance on the basis of documents that started investigations and resulted and in 58 house searches from the police at the end of 2013.

In the scandal, according to Finance, they were involved 10 doctors, seven suppliers of medical equipment and four other people. (ANSA).
