(ANSA) - PRISTINA - The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, stressed the importance of continuing the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade during her visit to Pristina.

Speaking in a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, Mogherini underlined that establishing direct contact between Mustafa and her Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vucic, was a positive development. "There are still tensions between the two premiers, but progress in the dialogue is notable and it will benefit all", she said. The head of EU diplomacy stressed the importance of implementing the agreements reached between Pristina and Belgrade. "I know that the implementation of the agreements is the most difficult part, but I am certain that the dialogue will proceed successfully", Mogherini said.

Mogherini will visit Belgrade on Friday. (ANSA)
