Slovenian Lasko brewery receives offer from investment funds

(ANSA) – LJUBLJANA - The best offers for obtaining the 51%
share of Pivovarna Lasko - the group comprising of the two major
beer producers in Slovenia, Lasko and Union - arrived from two
investment funds, KKR and CVC Capital Partners, according to the
economic daily Finance.
The consortium of the selling shareholders invited other investment groups and companies who had formulated the offer, including Heineken, to renew their proposals. The terms for the reformulation of the proposals have not been made public. (ANSA)
