The railways have announced the modernization of the toilets on board 250 local transport trains, which by 2016 will be transformed into more comfortable spaces thanks to the adoption of new 'Fototapeten' panoramas to be taped to toilet walls. The first train with a modernized and scented toilet has already become operational yesterday on a railway line in the eastern part of the country, reported a press release issued by the Austrian railways.

Meanwhile, the OeBB have launched an online survey (http://www.marketagent.com/l.aspx?PD=4830&CL=1&Y=1) that will allow users to choose their favourite decoration for local trains. OeBB's top management then promised that they will ensure the continued and stable functioning of 95% of the train toileta. Out of order toilets will be repaired within two days, the OeBB promised.
