For failure to comply with contract during privatization

(ANSA) - BUCHAREST - Romania's state owned company dealing with energy ''administration and distribution'', will proceed with legal action against Enel at the International Court of Arbitration in Paris, urging the Italian group to pay 521,5 million euros.

This request is in relation to the privatization of the Muntenia Sud company, in which Enel - according to Romania - did not comply with the contract. Ten days ago Enel had sold the operations to distribute and sell electricity in Romania, Mediafax reported. (ANSA).
