Hoxhaj, we will co-operate on organ trafficking

Kosovo minister meets Mogherini

15 April, 11:32

(ANSA) - ROME - '' We have nothing to hide and we are ready to respond to the allegations of organ trafficking in order to finally close this chapter that tarnishes the image of our country. But we will not do it through the establishment of an international tribunal, but thanks to a special court which will have two locations, one in Pristina and the other in a city outside Kosovo''. Kosovo's Minister of Foreign Affairs Enver Hoxhaj, in an interview with ANSA, has reiterated the position of his government on the matter of organ trafficking in relation to civilians taken prisoner by the KLA, Kosovo Liberation Army, between 1999 and 2000. ''We do not know when the Court will come into operation and we don't know even its composition, but we are sure that this should be fully integrated into Kosovo's the legal system'', the minister said just after arriving in Rome.
