(ANSA) - BRUSSELS - ''It's crucial that the so-called
telecommunications agreement between Serbia and Kosovo enters
into force'', according to the spokesman for the EU Commission,
Maja Kocijani, who answered the reporters' questions on the
stalemate reached last week at the end of the technical dialogue
between Belgrade and Pristina. ''The EU is facilitating the
dialogue between the parties on the implementation of the
so-called telecommunications agreement reached in 2013, followed
by an action plan in 2015, and that has still to enter into
force'', the spokesman explained, adding that ''dialogue does
not include ultimatum'' imposed by one side or the other or by
the EU itself, but it is aiming at ''bringing into force an
agreement upon which deals have already been done''. Granting
Kosovo an international area code (+383) is at the heart of the
debate between Serbia and Kosovo. (ANSA).
