Airport passengers in Macedonia up by 75% since 2010

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - The number of passengers transported via the airports of Skopje and Ohrid in Macedonia has grown by 75% since 2010, Mia agency reported citing TAV Macedonia, the company managing the two airports. In 2014 1.3 million passengers have been transported compared to 730 thousand in 2010. Over the same period, 17 new destinations have been introduced. "Skopje airport is currently connected with 26 European cities", said the CEO Zoran Krstevski, adding that the company's goal is to introduce more destinations and to transport 1.5 million persons in 2015.
