Romania: more tourist arrivals in Q1 2018, +6.3%
Foreigners arrivals rose between January and March

(ANSA) - BELGRADE - The number of tourists in Romania
significantly rose in the first quarter of 2018 compared to the
same period of 2017, according to new data from the National
Institute of Statistics (INS), published on Tuesday.
Between January and the end of March 2018, the arrivals in the establishments of tourists' accommodation amounted to around 2,2 million, 6.3% more compared to the same period of 2017. In the same period of 2018, the overnight stays increased by 6.2% year-on-year.
In the first quarter of 2018 the number of arrivals of foreign tourist rose also by 7,8%, from 446,000 in January-March 2017 to 481,000 in January-March 2018. (ANSA).
