Romania: Raiffeisen Bank launches startup competition

Loans up to 50,000 euro for each project selected

(ANSA) - BELGRADE - Raiffeisen Bank Romania has launched a platform designed to support financing of start-ups in the country, the financial news portal Business Review said today.

The project 'Factory' (raiffeisenfactory.ro) will deliver loans up to 50,000 for each project selected, Business Review explained. Entrepreneurs and Small and Medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operational for less than two years can submit their applications by April 22nd. The loans are granted through the European programme Cosme, focused on the competitiveness of SMEs, with warranties from the European Investment Fund. (ANSA).
