(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 14 GIU - Serbia currently lacks around
15,000 IT experts, according to the participants of the round
table dedicated to the development of the sector organised by
E-kapija portal, Tanjug reported. Around 1,000 students complete
IT studies in Serbia each year. Serbia's exports in the sector
amounted to 670 million euros in 2015.
Sava Savic, representative of the Ministry of
telecommunications underlined that the experts deficit in the
sector does not regard only Serbia, but the entire region and
that the Ministry is implementing several projects with the aim
of increasing the number of IT experts.(ANSA).
