(ANSA) - TRIESTE - Public debt has grown in Montenegro,
reaching 2,02 billion euros, equaling to 57.5% of its GDP,
according to data made available by the country's Ministry of
finance. Compared to June of the last year, the debt grew by
14%.
Out of the total amount of debt, EUR 438,3 millions are
internal, while 1,6 billion, or 45,05% of GDP, are due to
external obligations. The biggest amount is relative to
Eurobonds(EUR 656,16 millions). The debt towards the European
Bank for Reconstruction and Development amounted to 230,8
millions Euros in June, compared to 212 millions owed to Credit
Suisse, and 100,3 millions to the European Investment Bank
(EIB). (ANSA)
