AIMR: Giampieri, an ending and a new beginning

(ANSA) - ANCONA, NOV. 17 - "This kick-off conference represents
the peak of a process based on a strong intuition and early
vision, which started 13 years ago, when the Ancona Chamber of
Commerce transformed the cross-border dialogue into a driver of
cohesion and economic growth". This is what Rodolfo Giampieri,
president of the Chamber of Commerce of Ancona, said about the
launch of the European strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian
macro-region, which will take place tomorrow in Brussels.
"It's an important sign - Giamperi added -, that confirms how the chamber system may be an essential part of the network which is spread all over the involved regions, in order to create sharing and consensus around a new and original strategic plan, which has become the glue of the whole geo-economic area".
