'Life in Romania worse than during Ceausescu', poll shows
Citizens aged over 50 the most disappointed
18 December, 19:07The Inscop analysts explained that such results are not a sign of a nostalgic wave towards the communist regime, but more a reaction to the negative circumstances - in terms of possibility of finding a permanent job, or poor health and education system - considered worse than before 1989. The most disappointed are Romanians over 50 years old.
Namely, 45,8% of the questioned in this age group retains that living conditions in Romania today are worse than 25 years ago.
The poll has been commissioned by the Adevarul daily. (ANSA).
