Brankica Stankovic (TV B92) has won the main prize in the 'professional journalists' category, while Sadeta Fisic, Jovana Kljajic and Maida Salkanovic (CIN Sarajevo) in the section 'young professional journalists'. A special mention has been assigned to the Ukrainian reporter Anna Babinets.

"Brankica Stanković has been awarded for her professional achievements and major commitment to investigative reporting undertaken with great efforts and under very difficult personal conditions", it was stated in a note released by the CEI to announce the winners. The Serbian journalist, editor of the investigative programme Insajder, has been living under police protection since 2009, assigned to her after receiving numerous death threats. Stanković and the team of CIN journalists will receive their awards (4,000 EUR and 1,000 EUR respectively, offered by the CEI) during the South East Europe Media Forum (SEEMF) in programme for 16-17 October 2014 in Skopje, Macedonia.
