Summer project 'I care for', little European cities network

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - International volunteer camps I Care For…" 2013 will be held in Dreznik Grad in Croatia, Počitelj in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bač in Serbia, the camp which will be held in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy) will have a camp-base in Tarcento and few days we will be accomodated in the UNESCO World Heritage sites Aquileia (Italy) and Idrija (Slovenia).

''We want to strengthen the knowledge of these places and their communities, to create opportunities for dialogue that could help to create a network of European 'small places' that are characterized by the presence of extraordinary cultural values, already under the attention of UNESCO'', Adriatic GreeNet explains in a statement. In collaboration with local partner organizations will be done 'active citizenship' actions in order to take care of the local cultural heritage and educational / informational activities about multicultural values of the areas that will host volunteers, about the necessity of their protection and improvement, about the size and importance of common European heritage and about the role of culture for sustainable development of the marginal areas.

Camps (nine days) will held from June to Septembre. (ANSA).
