07 November, 11:57
(ANSA) - COSENZA, NOV. 6 - ''Investments and Ideas 4.0: Let's talk about the initiatives in the province of Cosenza'' is the contest promoted by Promocosenza, special agency of the Chamber of commerce. ''This contest - a press release issued by the entity reported - is an opportunity to give visibility to case histories of authentic innovation in the province of Cosenza. A panel of judges made up of experts will choose the most innovative ideas or investments. Among participants, three companies will be awarded a prize; for further information, you can refer to the contest notice on the web portal of the Chamber. In order to participate, you have to fill out the on-line application form by 24 November 2017'' .

''The three companies - according to the press release - will be awarded on December 7 at the Cosenza Chamber of commerce, and on the same day the PID (Digital business points) will be presented. Spreading the digital culture among SMEs (Micro, small and medium enterprises) in any economic sector is one of the goals of the PIDs. These structures are located at the Chamber of Commerce and make a 'virtual' network alongside the network of physical points through the use of a wide range of digital tools: dedicated websites, forums and communities, social media. PID aims to promote 'active' awareness among businesses of possible digital solutions and their benefits, but also of the risks linked to their misuse. The national network of Impresa 4.0, presented by Minister Carlo Calenda in Rome on May 22, recognizes the key role that Italian Chambers of Commerce play to support the digital evolution of the enterprise: 77 Digital Business Points (PIDs) are located in the Chambers of Commerce, supporting the dissemination of basic knowledge about technologies for industry 4.0.(ANSA).
