Hungary: 18,000 more at work in August-October
In the age group 20-64 rate at 75.5%, above EU target

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 27 - The average number of
employed people in Hungary between August and October 2019 was
4,520,000, 18,000 more than a year earlier, the Hungarian
Central Statistical Office (KSH) said in a statement today,
adding that "the employment rate of people aged 15-64 increased
to 70.3%."
The number of employed people increased by 0.4% in a
comparison between August-October 2019 and the corresponding
period in 2018.
"The employment rate of people aged 20-64 - the coverage
regarding the development of employment objectives defined in
the Europe 2020 Strategy - grew by 0.6 percentage point to
75.5%," the KSH specified, recalling that the European Union has
set a target of 75% by 2020. (ANSA).
