Hungary: GKI institute raises GDP growth forecast
4,2% in 2018 up from previous estimate of 4%
05 September, 10:22 (ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 5 - The Hungarian Economic
research institute GKI has raised its forecast for the growth of
the GDP in the country from the previous 4% to 4.2% in 2018,
local media reported.
According to the media in Budapest, the GKI predictions is slightly lower than the government one, which forecasts a GDP growth of 4.3% this year.
The GKI institute expects the "economic growth to slow to about 3% next year as the increase in investments and household consumption decelerates," the Budapest Business Journal reported. (ANSA).
