(ANSA) - LJUBLJANA - For the second time in six months the
Slovenian Prime Minister, Miro Cerar, is on a two-day visit in
Dubai, accompanied by a strong entrepreneurial delegation,
aiming to open new opportunities in the Gulf market. Upon the
invitation of the World Government Summit, an international
organization headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, that
strives to promote a global public debate on technologic
innovations, economy and civil society, Cerar will fundamentally
address two topics with the political leadership of the
Emirates. Firstly, he will highlight Slovenia as a country with
vast economic potential and a penchant for sustainable
environment, also within the framework of the 2020 Expo, which
will be held in the Emirates. Secondly his goal will be to
attract further investments in the logistics sector, with a
special focus on the port of Koper. However, most of the
entrepreneurs accompanying Cerar belong to the IT sector, and
want to showcase their expertise in the digitalization of
administrative infrastructure and the achievements in the realm
of the digital economy.(ANSA).
