Romania, wine production up by 37% in a year
Oiv:'Fastest growth in the World'. Ranks 13th for quantity

(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 21 OTT - Over 4.8 million hectolitres of
wine was produced in Romania this year (+37% compared to the
same period of 2015), Romanian media reported quoting the
International Organization of Vine and Wine (Oiv). The country
remained 13th in the World in terms of production volume.
Meanwhile, Italy reinforced its World primate with 48.8
million hectolitres, followed by France (41.9 million) and Spain
(37.8). The USA came fourth with 22.2 million hectolitres, while
Australia is fifth with 12.5 million. (ANSA).
