(ANSA) - BUDAPEST - ''Friuli Venezia Giulia looks with great
interest to Hungary's tourism market. The tourists from Hungary
notched up the highest growth rate in attendance in 2015 and we
set ourselves the goal of becoming in the short term more and
more attractive for visitors from central and Eastern Europe'',
stated Marco Tullio Petrangelo, general manager of
PromoTurismoFVG, in a meeting at the Italian Cultural Institute
in Budapest, during which the FVG Region has shown itself to
local institutions, tour operators and restaurant owners with a
delegation of food and wine companies. The initiative was
organized by the cultural association ''Mitteleuropa'' in
collaboration with PromoTurismoFVG and the Italian Embassy in
Budapest. The event ''Friuli Venezia Giulia, a microcosm of
emotions'' involved some renowned names in the regional
gastronomy. (ANSA).
