Serbian exports to EU up by 70% (2010-2014)

Since the signing of Trade/Association Agreement with EU

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - The exports of Serbian products to the EU increased by more than 70 percent from 2010 to 2014, since the signing of Accession Agreement between Serbia and the EU, Tanjug agency reported citing the European Integration Office of the Serbian Government.

During a meeting of the Council for stabilization and association held in Belgrade, it was reminded that, since 2007, the EU has approved nearly 1.7 billion euros to support various sectors of the Serbian society. To support the recovery from the floods which hit the country last May, the EU already gave 102 million euros, while additional 60 million are to be given over the next months. The EU has been Serbia's biggest donor since 2000, having donated over 75% of the total amount of help received from abroad. (ANSA).
