(ANSA) - LJUBLJANA - The unemployment rate in Slovenia in August
was 10.6%, namely 114,784 people out of work. Compared with
July, there was a decrease by 1.2% (1,400 people). On an annual
basis, compared with August 2013, there was a decline by 1.6%.
In the first quarter of 2014, the average unemployment rate was 14.1%, and then it dropped to 13.1% in the second quarter of this year. This decline was recorded with regards both to men (from 13.5% to 12.1%) and to women (from 14.8% to 14.2%). (ANSA)
