(ANSA) - STRASBOURG, JUNE 26 - Ukraine has called back its
representative to the Council of Europe, ambassador Dmytro
Kuleba, for consultations. A source from the organization told
ANSA, specifying that the ambassador is still in Strasbourg
where he will attend the vote in which the parliamentary
assembly will decide whether to accept Russian colleagues, and
whether to do so by imposing sanctions or not. For now, the
proposal on the table is to readmit them without penalties.
Ukraine recalled the ambassador in order to decide whether and
to what extent the Ukrainian delegation should continue to
cooperate with the parliamentary assembly. (ANSA).
