(ANSA) - MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 3 - "We are ready to make
compromises in any conflict or crisis whose solution involves
Russia, one way or another, from Syria to Ukraine", said Russian
Foreign Minister Serghei Lavrov cited by Interfax.
Lavrov underlined that Russia played "a key role in the
preparation of the Minsk agreements, the only way to resolve the
crisis in Eastern Ukraine".
"We are ready to help the peace process to the best of our
ability", he added. "Unfortunately, the implementation of the
Minsk agreements does not depend exclusively on us, and I must
say that the authorities in Kiev will not be able to stop the
sabotage and weakening of everything the leaders of Russia,
Germany, France and Ukraine agreed in February 2015, ahead of
the upcoming [presidential] elections in Ukraine", he said.
