Slovenia: growth in exports/imports in the first 7 months

In 2018, exports to non-EU countries increased

(ANSA) - LUBIANA, SEPTEMBER 8 - Slovenia's trade balance figures show good results in the first seven months of 2018, with an increase of 11% in imports and exports compared to the same period last year. The biggest rise in exports was recorded in July, when the volume of goods increased by 16.3%. The balance was positive, approximately 477m euros, marking the largest surplus on an annual basis with over 140m euros in July. Over three quarters of exports were to other EU member countries, but even trade with non-EU countries have grown (up 14.7%), with a positive balance amounting to almost 90 million.
