(ANSA) - UDINE, 26 JULY 26- An innovative Italian-Slovenian
cross-border acceleration process promoted and coordinated by
Friuli Innovazione in collaboration with one of the best 60
business accelerators in the world, the ABC Accelerator in
Ljubljana is about to start in September.
The project will involve 10 start-up enterprises - selected
among those that will have taken part in the call for
applications by 31 August - offering a product or a prototype
with a growth potential in the Italian and Slovenian markets.
The new companies will be accompanied in the phase of access
to the market, through a process that will take place between
September 2018 and March: three months in Slovenia, at ABC
Accelerator, and three in Italy, in Udine, at the Friuli
Innovazione headquarters and at the Ca 'Foscari University in
Venice.
The initiative is part of the CAB - Crossborder Acceleration
Bridge project, financed by the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia
2014-2020 cross-border cooperation program and pursuant to the
European Regional Development Fund.

them to develop their business in the Alpe Adria start-up
ecosystem, which we have been building for some years in
collaboration with our counterparts in Austria, Slovenia,
Croatia and Veneto '', said Fabio Feruglio, managing director of
Friuli Innovazione. Since 2005, the year of its foundation, the
entity has trained more than 2,100 entrepreneurs, created 60
