(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JANUARY 8 - EU High Representative Federica Mogherini met today in Brussels with the members of the Kosovar Delegation for Dialogue appointed by the Pristina Assembly on 15th December 2018. She called on the new Pristina's negotiators to withdraw duties on goods imported from Serbia as "urgent" and build a climate of mutual respect that leads to the full normalization of relations between Pristina and Belgrade.

"Achieving a global legally binding agreement on the full normalization of relations" between Pristina and Belgrade "requires a climate that contributes to good neighbourly relations, whereby past agreements are respected and implemented, and actions and statements which are not compatible with the overall interest and strategic objectives of the region are avoided", the European External Action Service (EEAS), led by Mogherini, pointed out at the end of the meeting.
