Serbia: three companies to bid for Bor copper mine complex

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 21 AGO - Three companies from Canada,
China and Russia have placed bids in a tender for a strategic
partnership in the Serbian RTB Bor mine and smelter complex,
local media reported, quoting information from the ministry of
Economy. The names of the companies were not disclosed.
Last July, Serbia launched an open call for finding a strategic investor for the large state-run copper mining and smelting complex, located in the eastern part of the country. The future strategic partner will be obliged to inject approximately 300 million euro in the capital of RTB Bor, the economy ministry said in the tender notice. (ANSA).
