Meeting in Bari of the 11 Eastern European Confederations

(ANSA) - BARI, FEBRUARY 4 - A meeting is scheduled for tomorrow in Bari, for the international representatives of the 11 Confindustria of Eastern Europe, an area that grows by an average of 3.8% per year and that has networked to present itself together, for the first time, in the headquarters of Confindustria Bari and Barletta-Andria-Trani. Representatives from the Confederations of Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine and the newly established Poland and Slovenia are expected on the occasion of a stage of the Roadshow of Confindustria Eastern Europe.

The meeting will take place at 9.30 am, to present to Apulian entrepreneurs the opportunities offered by a large market that counts a population of over 134 million inhabitants.

Bilateral meetings are also scheduled between entrepreneurs and representatives of the Confindustria of the 11 Eastern European countries in connection with Confindustria Est Europa, the federation of associations of Eastern Italian companies that are interested in this area.

Sergio Fontana, president of Confindustria Bari-Bat and president of Confindustria Albania will also open the session, followed by Luca Serena, president of Confindustria Eastern Europe, who will describe the role of International Representations and business opportunities in the countries of the federation. There will be a focus on the 'Neg East Gate' project for the commercial development of Italian companies (keynote speaker Rocco Ferri, project manager for Confindustria Est Europa), and Unicredit's presence in Eastern Europe (keynote speaker Alessandro Paoli, Head of UniCredit International Center Italy).
