(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUNE 4 - The company China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) expressed interested in participating in the construction of more sections of the Bar-Boljare highway, in Montenegro, according to a press release of the Montenegrin ministry of Transport related to a meeting of Du Fei, director of Chinese company CRBC with the Montenegrin Transport minister Osman Nurkovic.

Du Fei, director of CRBC, said that the Chinese company is also ready to carry out works on the principle of public-private partnership. CRBC is currently building the 41 km-long Smokovac-Metesevo section of the motorway, the specialized portal SeeNews said, recalling that the motorway, which will have a length of 129 kilometers on Montenegrin territory, has three more projected sections in the Balkan country, the Matesevo-Andrijevica, the Andrijevica-Boljare and the Podgorica-Djurmani. "Du Fei informed minister Nurkovic that the contracts with the Government of Serbia on the Preljina-Pozega section were negotiated and that he was negotiating intensively for the next stake from Pozega to the border with Montenegro," the press release reads.
