Brussels urges Pristina to form a new government

(ANSA) - BRUXELLES - The European Union "welcomes" the
election of Kadri Veseli, leader of the Democratic Party of
Kosovo, as the new Speaker, "which is the first step in
establishing the institutions after the elections in June", Maja
Kocijancic, EU spokesperson, says following the latest
developments in Pristina.
The EU now "urges the new parliamentary majority to form the new government as soon as possible so that urgent reforms necessary for Kosovo to advance on its EU accession agenda can be addressed", EU spokesperson adds. (ANSA).
