Greece: fires, death toll hits 81, some people still missing

(ANSA) - ATHENS, JULY 26 - The official death toll of the
fires that devastated Attica in Greece has risen to 81,
according to local authorities.
Around 98% of Mati, the town to the northeast of Athens where
the largest number of dead was recorded, is ''destroyed'', the
mayor of Rafina announced.
''We have received dozens of missing person's reports'' the Fire Brigade reported. Meanwhile, identifying the victims is a slow process, due to the very bad conditions of the bodies found so far. (ANSA).
