Eurostat,in 2017 20% of Bucharest's commercial trade with Berlin

(ANSA) - BUCHAREST - Germany was Romania's main trading partner last year, as 20 percent of Romania's exports and imports of goods were destined or came from the first European economy, Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, shows.

At the same time, at EU level, Germany was the main destination for goods exported by 17 Member States and one of the top three destinations for 22 Member States.

Returning to Romania's main trading partners, Germany is followed by Italy, where 11 percent of Romania's goods were exported and 10 percent of imports came from. Other major trading partners of Romania are: France, 7 percent - exports and 5 percent - imports; Hungary, 5 percent - exports and 7 percent - import; Great Britain, 4 percent - exports and Poland, 5 percent - imports.
