(ANSA) - MILAN - UniCredit announced in a statement they
signed two exclusive strategic partnership agreements with
Allianz and Generali for the dissemination and diffusion of
insurance products for individuals and small and medium-sized
enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech
Republic, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. These
long-term partnerships, according to the press release, will be
gradually implemented in the second half of 2018 and will be
mainly focused on life and non-life products with Allianz, and
on credit protection insurance products with Generali. These
agreements, which combine the wide distribution network of
Unicredit with the insurance experience of the other two
partners, will strengthen UniCredit's activities in
bank-insurance and generate ''synergies thanks to a strengthened
and unique commercial strategy, offering an expanded product
range for UniCredit customers in a region which has strong
growth potential''. (ANSA).
