(ANSA) - UDINE, MAY 22 - ''Caterina Percoto'' High School,
Udine, presented its 'Learning with taste' project at the Milan
Expo 2015. In the ''Vivaio scuole'' space at ''Palazzo Italia'',
the students have shown their work, which is a mixed study
including the territory, local gastronomy and digital culture.
In detail, students presented two table games focusing on
food, produced in co-operation with the Game Room of the
Friulian capital, aimed at promoting healthy eating behaviors,
awareness of the typical products of Friuli Venezia Giulia and
traditional recipes.
This project, named 'Learning with taste', finalist at the
School for EXPO 2015 contest, organized by the Education
Ministry in order to encourage debate on the EXPO's theme
''Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life'', has addressed many
crucial issues, such as nutrition education, obesity prevention
and food safety.(ANSA).
