Poland voted against all
environmental, climate, and energy legislation approved by the
EU Council today. "We are against the entire Fit for 55
package," said Polish Minister Robert Telus, "we have produced
various statements on this and we ask that they be included in
the meeting minutes." Warsaw voted against the new energy
efficiency rules, along with Hungary and Finland (Belgium,
Portugal, Slovenia, and Latvia abstained), against the reduction
of emissions from shipping, and against the rules to build
infrastructure for refuelling electric and hydrogen vehicles,
along with Romania (Italy and Latvia abstained).
